Medical Illustrator
Duties and Responsibilities: Medical Illustrator work strictly in the medical field and create graphic for text books, journals, magazines etc. Some medical illustrators prepare illustrators that aid in research about or creation of artificial body parts. At times they are upon to use modelling skills, to create artificial body parts, such as ears and noses for patients that are deformed or have undergone some surgeries.

Salary: $35,000 - $50,000

Education: Students should take a college preparatory program in high school that emphasizes are and science. The majority of medical illustrators have master’s degrees in the filed from a program that is accredited by commission on accreditor of allied health educational programs. In college they should either major in science or minor in art.

I wouldn’t enjoy being a Medical Illustrator, wouldn’t like to take the time to take classes to become one. The duties don’t motivate me to become one.
